Two brothers from Somerset achieved a unique double at Christmas primestock shows when Archie Stamp, 17, took the supreme championship at Frome Market's Fatstock Show with a steer which went on to sell for 405p/kg.
His brother, Harry, 14, then took the same accolade at Sedgemoor Livestock Centre's South West Winter Fair with a heifer which then sold for £3,000.
Both animals had been bought privately from the same farm earlier in the year and had been managed and prepared by the brothers.
On the 225th anniversary of Westmorland County Show, visitors returned to the ringside to watch an admirable show of stock exhibited across the two-day event
